Sometimes its hard to fight human cruelty because its everywhere. Hope that this situations be lessen in the following years through human rights charter. I'm happy that I'm a work at home mom so I'm home happy being with my family. Hope that OFWs are safe and sound. Lets s not forget to pray. Do you know how I can reach an NGO or someone who can help her out? She said on her letter that she's not allowed to go out and she hasn't been paid for months. And that when she signed the contract it wa sin Arabic so she didn't know that she was supposed to work for them for 4 years. We have a scanned copy of her letter if you want to read it for yourself. Thank you for writing an article about this. There's so much going on in the world and a lot of us do not understand how blessed we are compared to these folks working abroad and being abused. Hi -

It is comforting to know that Hizbollah have enough morals not to participate in such slavery, whilst others do. I sincerely hope they take power and clean up the dirt. Long live Nasrallah!! (PS i am English, not lebanese). This is shocking to read, but I have witnessed appalling conditions and abuse against such women workers in Beirut.
