    the Case for Boycotting Israel.

    THURSDAY APRIL 16, 7pm
    A-M050, Pavillion Hubert-Aquin (A), UQAM
    400 rue Sainte-Catherine Est
    Montreal, Quebec

In the wake of Israel’s recent attacks on Gaza and as the illegal occupation of Palestine enters its 42nd year, the movement for boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) against Israel continues to grow. This movement, inspired by the global campaign which was central to bringing an end to apartheid in South Africa, has been gaining momentum since it was launched by over 170 Palestinian organisations in 2005.

We invite you to a panel discussion on Israeli apartheid and the international movement for BDS against Israeli apartheid.

Merci pour l’information. Je vais passer votre message sur mon blogue. J’aimerais prendre part à cette discussion, mais avec un bébé ce n’est pas facile de se déplacer, ce qui ne m’empêche pas d’appuyer la cause palestinienne

I have been keeping track and blogging some of the successes in the boycott and it has been exciting to watch. Sweden is amazing! Ireland is damn good too. In our Zionized Canada, it has often seemed I was the only one boycotting anything so it is good to see some action. The NYC for Motorola was a good step also. Check out my blog for new on this exciting and necessary movement.
