Tune-in for a Special Edition of World Skipped the Beat hosted by members of Tadamon! Montreal. Including a live performance from members of La Banda de Gaza. This program will feature original / ground breaking music from the global south, focusing on innovative music from Africa and the Middle East.

Featuring artists from Ghana, Algeria, Ethiopia, Lebanon, Egypt and beyond. While including a live, in-studio performance from La Banda de Gaza, an ensemble including violin, double-bass, percussion, guitar and accordion, front-lined by Iqi Balam who brings biting, politically charged lyrics to the group’s electricity of musical rhythms from Latin America, African percussion & modern beats.
